Heil offers its ION Line of high quality, high efficiency systems for those who want the best in their comfort system. Heil's PERFORMANCE line is the value oriented product line. As of the Spring of 2025, Heil still has a good inventory of the R-410a refrigerant equipment in stock. It would be wise to take advantage of the savings before this equipment is gone. The new refrigerant line of R-454b will be introduced gradually with Heil, as the old inventory gets depleted. The cost of this new R-454b equipment is substantially more expensive, so act soon!

 

Mitsubishi's product line is all Inverter compressor driven, as is the high end ION line by Heil. If you are interested in this type of system, we will quote you several options on both brands for you to evaluate. Keep in mind that Mitsubishi does have a ducted Heat Pump Variable Speed Air Handler that matches many of their outdoor unit offerings, so you can have a ducted system with Mitsubishi. We have installed many of these ducted Mitsubishi systems, and our customers are highly satisfied with their comfort and their electric bills.

 

Mitsubishi also has a full line of ductless & mini-split type systems within our offerings.

Heil has a very extensive gas furnace selection, should you want to pair your heat pump with a gas furnace for a DUAL FUEL system. This is the ultimate in efficiency and comfort for those with Propane or those with Natural Gas available.

We do not recommend using just a propane gas furnace as your sole source of heating, due to the fuel cost fluctuations, and given that a Heat Pump is so efficient compared to using Propane by itself. Natural gas however is a low cost fuel that has had stable fuel cost over the years. If you have natural gas at your residence, you may want to consider using a straight air conditioning with a gas furnace. We invite you to go to Heil's website and review some of the different models available, and consult with one of our Comfort Advisors in making your selection. Straight Air Conditioners follow the same format as the heat pump as listed above.
